About
About Neruda Productions
Neruda Productions is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building bridges in our community through music, dance, drama, and visual arts from around the world.
Founded in 2001 by Artistic Director Isabel Cisterna, the organization has successfully produced a range of programming that caters to the vibrant and diverse local community.
With a wide artistic repertoire that features festivals, concerts, workshops, and cultural exchanges, Neruda Productions’ goal is to nurture a healthy community that celebrates diversity, through the power of the arts.

Neruda Productions’ philosophy includes striving to present culturally diverse performances that would otherwise be under-represented in Canada. We are also focused on collaborating with our volunteers, who are mainly students from the region of Waterloo, especially those students benefiting from English as a Second Language classes, to produce quality programming.
While supporting arts from around the globe, Neruda Productions has a strong focus on presenting work from New Canadian and emerging artists as they develop their craft in a Canadian context.
Neruda Productions is dedicated to the artistic development of local artists, and the career development of professional artists working within our areas of focus, while striving to foster and expand audiences for diverse art forms locally, nationally and internationally.
