Calafquen
Chilean Dance Company
Calafquen was founded in March of 2001 with the
intent of bringing stylized Chilean folklore to
our multicultural community. In this short period
of time the company has received a warm welcome
from the Chilean as well as the non-Chilean audience
alike. Calafquen a not for profit company, is at
this time made up of twelve dancers who came from
a wide and varied artistic background as well as
being Chilean-Canadian themselves.
